One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to be part of some of the biggest events in someone's life, how much more so when that person is someone I've grown up with! In this case, I got to take engagement photos for a friend I have known since middle school, as well as, to see a part of her life that not everyone gets to see. I got to capture the love that she and her fiance share in a way I had never gotten to seen before, and that's what I love about my job. When you can see how happy a couple makes each other and the love that they share, like no one else is around, I know I have done my job well, and I think this is one of those shoots. So congratulations Katie and John! I am so happy that you have both found someone that makes you so happy, and I can't wait to stand up with y'all at your wedding! I hope you enjoy!
